NriDirect publishes guides, FAQs, and procedural walk-throughs to help Indians in the UK complete Indian consular processes accurately and on time. Every published page is written to be useful first and commercial second — we would rather a reader complete their own application correctly than read a page that misleads them into paying us.
We treat the following as authoritative primary sources and cite them by name in our content:
Secondary sources (community forums, news articles) are used only for colour or sanity-checking and never as the basis for a procedural claim.
Time-sensitive pages — fees, turnaround times, document checklists, VFS appointment availability — are reviewed at least every 30 days. Evergreen pages — eligibility rules, process overviews — are reviewed every 90 days. Every page records its last-reviewed date in the article header.
Articles are written and reviewed by NriDirect caseworkers who handle real applications every week. Each author byline links to a profile page with their role, areas of expertise, and disclosable credentials.
Before publication every article is checked against the most recent official source for each procedural claim. Fees, turnaround windows, document specifications, and form numbers are verified at the time of writing and re-verified on each scheduled review.
If you spot an error, email us at [email protected]. We confirm receipt within 2 business days and aim to publish a correction within 5 business days for substantive issues. Corrections are recorded inline on the affected page with the date of the fix; we do not silently re-write history.
NriDirect is independently owned. We have no commercial relationship with the Government of India, the Indian High Commission, VFS Global, or the UK Government. We do not accept paid placements, sponsored content, or affiliate commissions on links to government services. See our disclaimer for the full non-affiliation statement.
