I'm a DPhil student on a Tier 4 visa — can I apply for OCI?
Not while you hold an Indian passport. OCI is for ex-Indian citizens with a foreign passport. As an Indian student you instead need an Indian visa for trips home, which we process with same-week turnaround for conference travel.
